The MACAW Skate in black suede. We call it the Local because every part of this shoe, apart from the midsole and insole, is sourced in the Dominican Republic, the same country where it is assembled.

The structure of a cupsole with the feel of a vulc. Comfortable out of the box, durable enough for daily wear, with the same 85% recycled Blumaka midsole as the Skate and Golf, rated for a thousand miles. Our insoles are the Blumaka Max Cushion insoles with a retail value of $55.
Where it comes from.
Assembled by hand in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The suede is tanned by Bojos, a gold-rated tannery in the same city. The Regrind outsole is made in the DR. The only parts that travel are the midsole and insole, made from recycled performance foam.
Fit
True to size. If you have a wider foot, go up a half size. Sizes 6 to 12 in half sizes, plus 13 and 14.
